This section provides information and key documents related to ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP).

The Joint Declaration of the Leaders of ASEAN and Japan on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership, signed in Phnom Penh on 5 November 2002, and the Framework for Comprehensive Economic Partnership between ASEAN and Japan, signed in Bali on 8 October 2003, provided the basis for negotiating the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP) Agreement, which was signed ad-referendum by ASEAN Member States and Japan in 2008 and take into effect in December 2008. The Agreement is comprehensive in scope, covering trade in goods, and trade in services, investment, and economic cooperation.
